Welcome to Simpsonville Rural Fire Protection District serving Simpsonville, Kentucky since 1962.  We are a combination department serving the "Saddlebred Horse Captial of the World".  SRFD provides fire suppression, auto extrication, fire prevention, medical assistance to Shelby County EMS, large animal rescue, haz-mat response, specialized rescue with the Shelby County Task Force unit, and mutual aid response. We operate out of three stations with four engines, two pumper-tankers, three grass units, one rescue unit, a Special Response Trailer, four command units, and a parade unit (restoration in progress).
